Why We’re AAHA Accredited
Our team is committed to providing the highest standard of veterinary care to our patients. For this reason, we have sought and achieved accreditation from the American Animal Hospital Association which sets the standards for veterinary care within the industry. We voluntarily have our hospital inspected on a regular basis in order to maintain our accreditation. While accreditation is available for animal hospitals all over the country, only a small percentage of them actually achieve it. We are proud to be one of them!
How is AAHA Accreditation Achieved?
The American Animal Hospital, or AAHA, inspects our hospital in 900 different areas. When you see that our animal hospital has the stamp of approval with our AAHA accreditation, you can rest assured that that means we are always striving to offer your pet the very best care possible.
Some of the areas that AAHA inspects for excellence at our hospital include:
- Anesthesia monitoring during surgery
- Continuing education for team members
- Dentistry standards
- Emergency preparedness
- Overall cleanliness
- Quality of surgical care
- Safety precautions
