Veterinarians in Southwest Orlando

Meet Our Team

Dr. Philip Callahan graduated from Auburn University in 1985 and began practicing in Orlando in 1986, following a year in Nashville, Tennessee. After working in east Orlando, Dr. Callahan moved to southwest Orlando in 1989. He began MetroWest Veterinary Clinic in 1993. He enjoys surgery, internal medicine and ophthalmology. Dr. Callahan understands and respects the importance that families place on their small animal companions. He shares his home with Rileigh, a black lab; Gio, a Jack Russell Terrier; Olivia, a Yorkie mix; and often his independent grandcat, Madison. He hopes to build a relationship of trust and confidence as you allow him to assist you in providing the best care possible for your pet. In his free time, Dr. Callahan enjoys sports, outdoor activities and time with his daughters and their families.

Dr. Clemence Markwardt grew up in a small town near Paris, France. She moved to Dallas, Texas with her family at the age of 14. Dr. Markwardt received her Biomedical Science and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees from Texas A & M University. With a special interest in behavior medicine and dermatology, Dr. Markwardt places great importance on making each veterinary visit as positive and fear free as possible for every pet. Dr. Markwardt and her husband enjoy spending time with their furry children- Roxy, a black Australian Shepherd mix and a mischievous Domestic Short Hair, named Kiwi. In her free time, she enjoys going to theme parks. She is fluent in both English and French.

Dr. Camila Pulida grew up in Columbia and moved to the United States with her family at age 7. Following in her father’s footsteps as a veterinarian, Dr. Pulido received her Biology degree from the University of Florida, and then moved to Australia where she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Melbourne. Although it was very tempting to stay in Australia, she moved back to Florida to begin her veterinary career. Dr. Pulido has a special interest in internal medicine and surgery. In her free time, she enjoys horseback riding and traveling. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.
