Meet Our Team
Dr. Philip Callahan graduated from Auburn University in 1985 and began practicing in Orlando in 1986, following a year in Nashville, Tennessee. After working in east Orlando, Dr. Callahan moved to southwest Orlando in 1989. He began MetroWest Veterinary Clinic in 1993. He enjoys surgery, internal medicine and ophthalmology. Having a variety of personal pets, Dr. Callahan understands and respects the importance that families place on their small animal companions. He hopes to build a relationship of trust and confidence as you allow him to assist you in providing the best care possible for your pet.
Dr. Diane Delmain joined our staff in 2014. She is one of four veterinarians in Florida who are board-certified in feline specialty by the ABVP. Dr. Delmain is originally from the Philadelphia area, and worked in a feline practice there during college and veterinary school. After graduating from veterinary school, she moved to California, joining a large feline practice in Campbell. In 1996 Dr. Delmain opened Bay Hill Cat Hospital in Orlando. After selling the practice, she worked in the central Florida area for several years. She enjoys oncology, dentistry and internal medicine.

Karla, Jenelle, Savanna & Maria…will be your veterinary technicians to help provide medical care for your pet during their visit with us. Their genuine care for your pets and veterinary experience are vital in providing the quality care you expect.
Josh & Charity…are your veterinary assistants. They will assist the technicians and the doctors in preparation and care of your pets.
Amanda & Nisaa…will be the caring hands that make sure your pet’s needs are met while in our clinic. They assure your pet is comfortable and will feel secure while with us. We rely on them to be the eye and ears of any changes during walks and general care during their stay.
Yvette, Jackie & Missy…will greet you as you enter the clinic. They will ensure that your paperwork is complete, your file is in order, and everything is prepared properly for your visit with the doctor. They can also help with your purchases of foods and heartworm/flea preventatives. They will also help make sure you and your pet feel welcome and comfortable during your visit!
